I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter, I feel like I have not written anything in ages (it’s been 3 whole days). I have been concentrating on my break plan now with 30 activities being ticked of the list. It has been a good exercise to do although I am having trouble winding up to speed again. I am sure I was still asleep this morning when I left the house without my phone, memory stick that I needed for work and my lovely vegetable pasta salad that I had made for my lunch, although a little part of me does feel like I am stuck in winter, it has been so cold. Although we are meant to me in the season of Spring, it does not feel like it does it? All last week there was snowfall most days and although it had not stuck very much on the ground where I live there was thick snow on the tops as I drove over to Uppermill on Thursday.
Today saw the start of the new era for my self and my lovely colleagues, as we began the working week with new employers. Saying goodbye to what has been and gone is always sad and can leave you with a sense of loss, both reasons to remember the good times, the laughter and take the lessons learnt with you into the future. The prospect of the new can always be anxiety provoking and unsettling so it is important to focus on the positives that the change can bring….
