After the storm

What a busy few weeks it has been, things going wrong, things going right, electrical equipment breaking, plants dying off, plants coming back to life again, an occupational premise change, new and interesting opportunities, I have hardly been able to keep up with it all and I must admit that by the end of yesterday I was feeling a little frazzled.  As you know I am a fan of change, I think its healthy and prevents us from stagnating.  When it all comes at once though it can be a little overwhelming.  Its times like these that it is important to allow yourself some time out and do the things that help you stay calm and centred, for me it is gardening, reiki, meditations, yoga and other forms of exercise.  Even those these things have a large parts in my life I sometimes forget to meditate, or I will give reiki to others but not to myself.  It is at these busy times though that we need to look after ourselves the most, besides if we do not look after ourselves it becomes difficult to look after others.  So today I have allowed myself yo take some time out completely rest and I am feeling much better, next week I will be making a conscious effort to practice more reiki, more meditations and yoga to restore that all important balance.
