Oh wow, June already and the first blog post of the month, I have been so busy the past few days I almost forgot to write something. There has been so much to do recently it has all been so hectic. I have been preparing for a few weeks off on holiday so I have been working my way through a very long list of “things to do”, trying to get everything done so that when the time comes I can completely switch off from work, leave it behind for a few weeks and have a good rest. Well for me I am not that good at sitting very still I always like to be doing something but you know what I mean, my attention will be on all the things that I love doing, a little travelling maybe, some jewelry making, a little bit of relaxation/meditation, definitely will be spending some time in the garden, it is almost finished now just a few more things to do. It is hard to imagine that this time last year it was still a muddy mess…
As I have focused very much on the garden it has been lovely watching all the changes take place from winter to summer,
AND ….. not to mention a few successes growing herbs this year too, with my main success being parsley
(I am sure there is some old wives tale about the devil and parsley, I won’t read into that one too much though). Half the time I have absolutely no idea what I am doing but it just shows you what can happen if you just have a go…
“A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust.
