Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. This post has come a little bit later than I had planned but it has been a busy week, nothing new there though. I thought I would write a few words whilst I wait for my spiced apple cake to finish baking in the oven.
I have had one of those weeks where you are reminded of how fragile life can be. You go about your daily business not really noticing life around you and then all of a sudden you may hear or see something that jolts you back into reality, you realise how lucky you are to have a home, a job, you are thankful for your health, your friends and your family. You realise that life is too short to be unhappy, a reminder to be positive for which I am grateful for.
I do not know whether you have heard it but one of my favourite songs at the moment is “let her go” by Passenger, I have added the words so you can read what it is about;

It is good to have a dream, everyone should have a dream, but in reality dreams do come and go, we focus on them so hard that we miss all the good and positive things that surround us each and every day and so today I am absolutely thankful, grateful and happy with my lot.
Must go now, my cake is ready to come out of the oven but…..
